BREAKING NEWS: DPI ASIA-PACIFIC ELECTED NEW EXECUTIVES!

On 23 May, 2016, Disabled Peoples’ International Asia-Pacific (DPI AP) Regional Assembly finished the first day, after accepting a series of reports from executives and the election. 

Following the election procedure approved in the previous Regional Council meeting in 2012, election was conducted in a democratic way with full transparency. Regional Councilors nominated candidates for each position and discussed openly before voting. Finally all the Executives were elected by consensus. Among 7 positions, only 2 were re-elected.
